A Bit About Me

My style is warm, compassionate, and authentic, with levity and the occasional bad joke thrown in for good measure.​He has been working in the social services field for over twelve years, with eight years of experience providing psychotherapy services. I also brings several years of professional experience working in crisis line and addictions treatment settings, leaving me with strong risk assessment skills as well as strong competencies applying harm reduction principles when working with individuals struggling with substance use, suicidality, and other high-risk behaviours.

My clinical approach is holistic, trauma-informed, attachment-focussed, and queer-affirming and includes training in the following areas:

• Narrative Therapy

• Motivational Interviewing

• Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing Therapy (please note: I am unable to provide consultation for EMDR certification)

• Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

• Attachment-Focussed Family Therapy (level 1 certification completed in Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy)

• Attachment Theory

• Trauma-Informed Principles and Practices

I meet CRPO requirements for providing clinical supervision to newly registered RP's and am passionate about working with new graduates establishing their clinical practice and professional identity. I have a strong reverence for the work we do as clinicians and it would be my pleasure to support you on your emerging clinical journey.
